Drinking Noodles

It appears that I am going to have a busy week.  I prefer those over being bored, that’s for sure.  However, it does mean that my blogging will be shorter than usual!  I know, I can hear you all applauding now.  Shorter is better and I am aware of that, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop talking and typing.  Hence, the long posts.So, today I have a cute video clip of Scout ‘drinking noodles’ – as Bella calls it.  It amused me, though I can’t promise it will amuse you.  Just humor me and watch it anyway.  It won’t hurt to giggle a little bit today!

Looks like I’ll be getting all my course materials by the end of this week to start my certification process. I’m very excited!

And I am at the T minus 11 days countdown until Scout’s FIRST birthday party.  Twelve days until his birthday – Valentine’s Day.  I am embarrassed to say that I have not one thing planned for his party – other than the fact that I’ve invited people.  So, I need to get to work on that.  Bella’s 1st birthday bash was planned 2 months in advanced.  That’s how cool I was. This time around, my coolness diminished a tad.

Enjoy my little monkey drinking his noodles.  The ones that were really funny obviously didn’t get on the video, because I didn’t tape him until after he had done it a few times.  Enjoy!

12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
    He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
         Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bear fruit in old age;
         They shall be fresh and flourishing,
15 To declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Man, not first again... at least I beat Julie!

That is hilarious! I can't believe he can slurp noodles like that!

I planned Bubba's bday MONTHS in advance. It was a huge to-do. So far for Baby Bub... we're having cake. Yep, definitely having cake. That's as far as I've gotten.

So cute! He just slurps them right up! Congrats on getting your certifications I think I read that but didn't have a chance to comment. I think being a doula would be so cool. I have a feeling you'll be great at it!

Stopping by from sits!

Will it make you feel better that my daughter's first birthday is the 12th and we've planned nothing either! I've asked a friend for a cake recipe... but haven't gotten it yet and mentioned to grandparents and an aunt to come by on Saturday for dinner. That's it. Looks like I'm working on mommy of the year... ;)

Ahhh, I love the video. SO cute!

Yay for your courses starting soon and I hope you're able to fit in some time to get going on the party. Know what you mean about planning WAY ahead of time for your first child's 1st birthday and then things being different the second time around. Audrey's birthday is coming up next month and I have no clue what I'm going to do yet. I've got baby on the brain, I guess!
