I’m Back!!!! Let The Games Begin

So, I’m back.  I realize most of you didn’t know I was gone – but I was.  Sort of.  I was in a blogging funk last week.  Had tons on my mind to write about, but could never find the time to sit down and do it.  Then at midnight when the kids were in bed and I finally had some ‘free time’ – I chose to go to bed.  Silly me, I know, but I’m still trying to catch up on 5 years of lost sleep.

I’m still reading through my books for school – this is seeming to take forever since I can’t read a lot in one sitting.  Hard to do with kids – you all know what I’m talking about.  There’s a lot of information that I’m just fascinated with that I will eventually share with all of you!  I most likely will make a new blog for all that stuff and have it be for my business.  Like I really need to add another blog to my life.  It’s a good challenge for me.

I’m also redesigning this one.  I’m actually almost done.  Just a few more things and VOILA it will be all new and purty!  I don’t know why I can’t leave things alone.  It’s like the furniture in my house.  It can’t stay in the same place too long or I get antsy.  I like to rearrange.  I got this from my mom.  Genetic, I suppose.

I also got a tad bit further on my Etsy site stuff.  I know I haven’t filled you in on it, but I’ll do that when it’s actually up and ready to go.  That way I have to get it done!  It’s my motivation!

I used my new Pyrex this weekend!  Yay – it is very cool!  I made this “peanut butter crazy” dessert for my dad since he’s completely addicted to Peanut Butter.  He really is.  I’ll post that recipe later this week!

Oh, and Julie requested a video of me doing my weird ‘blink without moving any part of my face’ thing – so I’ll most likely oblige and do a video for you all to see my awesomeness and talent – haha!

Oh yea!

I figured out a contest for my girls – Brandi, Julie and Kimber.

Yes, ladies, the heat is on.

I’ll post another post tonight – later in the evening – with the contest and rules.  I’ll be giving you guys one week to finish this.  I know there are work schedules, school and kids to contend with, so I think a week should be good!  The prize won’t be TOO exciting like a trip to Hawaii or something, but I think a $25 gift card for the winner to a place of your choice is better than nothing, right?  Besides – you girls have all my other commenters playing the “who’s on Kari’s blog first” game.  Seriously.  Now everyone is aware if they’re first or not!

And I’ve come to accept the fact that this little game with you guys has absolutely nothing to do with my coolness.  Nope.  You guys don’t want to be first to read my blog because you like it so much - you just want to beat each other.  Sniff sniff.  That’s okay.  I’m totally mature and can handle the truth!  So, we might as well make it fun while you’re at it, right!
