I’ve Chosen THE Name!

This was a hard choice for me to make.

I liked both names I had narrowed it down to:

KKAN Life Designs
(pronounced like CAN)

or

1:28 Life Designs

After much thought and discussion with hubby over this little topic, I have decided to name my business:

KKAN Life Designs

My ‘motto’ will be:

Live long. Live strong. Live the 1:28 life.

When I named my corporation KKAN a few years back I liked it because many different services could be added under that name – and the fact that it’s my initials is pretty cool too.  My dad started his own construction company eons ago and it’s called MKD Builders, Inc.  The MKD is for the names of us kids: Michelle, Kari, Daniel.  So, I guess you could say I’m following in my dad footsteps.  Not bad footsteps to follow in.  I guess I could have done my kid’s initials like my dad did, but then it would be BS Life Designs and I wasn’t sure that would entice people to hire me for my services!  Haha!

Thanks for all your input.  I kept reading your comments when trying to make my decision and I liked everyone’s point of view.

Hubby will be doing a website for me in the near future and I’m working on all my client forms and notebooks that I’ll be giving to them.  I realize that people want help from people who value them and are truly interested in their well-being – and that will be me.  You will not get service from me like you get at the doctor’s office or from a conventional nutritionist.  I won’t just type your numbers into a website and have it generate a menu plan and statistic averages for a person of your weight and height.  I will take time to make the program personal for you.  I will also provide resource information for other services you may like:  chiropractic, personal trainer, massage, etc.

So, here’s to me and a new journey in my life!  I’m very excited and going full force with this!  As I like to say:  BRING.IT.ON.

 

I hope you all had a great weekend.  We were in Wyoming for a funeral on Saturday and it was fun seeing all my distant relatives, hear stories and see where my grandma lived when she was growing up.  I took 150 photos, so I’ll have to go through those and pull out my favorites.  When we went to the cemetery, it was amazing to see all my family that has already passed on.  One tombstone from my family has been there since 1933.  It was very cool to see that history!
