Five Years Ago, This Was My Life

Five years ago, I looked like this.

Photobucket

I started out looking like this.

Half way through, I looked like this.

The morning I went to the hospital to be induced, I looked like this - at 5 am.

Photobucket

And I looked this big.  But notice how smooth my belly looks?  Can you see that there are NO STRETCH MARKS?
(a little plug for my Glowing Mama Belly Butter you can get at my Etsy shop :o)

And then, she finally arrived.

Photobucket

She was so beautiful.

Photobucket

She even wooed all the nurses.  Notice her tiny smile hours after being born?

Photobucket

My first baby.  I was so excited.

Photobucket

I finally had my little girl!

Photobucket

And we announced her to the world!

Photobucket

It’s hard to think that my little girl will be turning 5 tomorrow!  I’m very excited and yet a little sad that time always goes so fast.

We blinked.

Hubby and I always tell each other – “Don’t Blink.”  But we did and here we are.  Bella is turning into a lovely little girl (who still has her moments, but what kid doesn’t?)

I’ve been having a great time planning Bella’s All Girl Spa party.  Bella and I went shopping last night to buy stuff and she was so excited to be able to pick everything out.  I must say, I usually have to bite my tongue when I give her freedom to choose, but we agreed on everything last night.  Sniff, sniff.

My little girl is growing up!

Tomorrow is her big day!

Bring it on!

Love, love, LOVE these pictures! Something about a happy pregnant woman!

(Which makes me take exception to that quote by Phyllis Diller, because I *loved* every minute of being pregnant and I miss it!)

So wish I'd known about your Glowing Mama products. I have no stretch marks, but I realize now that there's a huge difference in moisturizing with something that's GOOD for you! :)

Happy early birthday Bella!

Beautiful pics! And happy birthday to Bella! My daughter is turning 5 next month - it seems like such an auspicious age, doesn't it? 5 F-i-v-e. I can't believe it's been that long since I first met her.

And I am jealous of your no stretch marks!!! Where were you when I was pregnant with twins?!?! I could've used your cream then! ;-)
