My Pig, Their Pig

Today I’m linking up with Friday Follow hosted by Heather & Jessica from Saving Money and Living Life, Tami from Hearts Make Families, Harriet from Harriet and Friends, and Ian from The Daily Dose of Reality.

If you’re new, “Welcome” and if you’re returning as one of my stalkers - “Welcome Back!”

Since I’m doing this blog hop today, I thought I’d just post a few photos taken this week – on my iPhone.  Yes, if you remember, Scout relocated my USB cord and I never did find it.  Hubby, who is newly 34 years old (as of Thursday 7.22.10), brought one home from work so I could transfer photos from my camera to the computer.  But, you actually have to BE home in order to do that and I’ve been gone the past 2 days!  So, you’re stuck with iPhone pics.  Although I did manage to whip up some Chocolate Yum Yums last night while the kids were in their bath.  Priorities people!  Mmmmm, were they good!

So here’s some pics to revel in while you await my real photos from my cool camera!  They’re a tad fuzzy – but whose complaining?  I took these on a phone.  People a hundred years ago would be in awe of the life we lead today, right?

Thanks for visiting today!  Thanks in advance if you decide to become my bloggy friend – you just put the biggest smile on my face!  Thank you and you’ll be seeing me around your blog too!  Maybe not this weekend because Hubby wanted to go camping for his birthday, so off to camping we go.  With two kids.  A 5 year old who gets bored easy and a 17 month old who destroys everything in his sight and runs like Forest Gump every chance he gets.  Yep, we’re going camping :o) Were you able to read that okay over my loud screams of excitement.  Hope so ;o)

* * * * * * *

Yesterday we went to our weekly mommy’s day at the park with some friends.  This park had train rides and a petting zoo and a huge creek for the kids to play in.  It was very cool.  This was their pig….Photobucket

And this is MY PIG!  Can you tell which one is the pot-bellied pig? Sweet Missy
(who, by the way, will be turning 18 next month)

And because this is how we roll around here, we have to take photos of Barbie dolls constantly.  Bella always has to photograph them.  Half the time they are naked.  Yes, naked.  I feel like I’m breaking some law taking photos like this.
Photobucket

But, Bella runs these photo shoots like she’s a professional, so we just keep going.  Yes. I’m. Cool.Like.That!
(if you notice, they had to change spots, Bella’s orders)

And these are the photos that don’t make Hubby too excited.  Scout doing all the ‘girly’ things (which usually include wearing pink arm floaties, headbands and drinking out of princess sippy cups).  Here he is playing in the ‘play’ kitchen at a friends house.  He was fascinated with the blender.  Maybe he was making smoothies with flaxseed, keifer, greek yogurt, fresh berries and wheat germ.  Whaaaaaaa?  The kid watches his mom a lot, what can I say?

Have a GREAT weekend!  I hope you come back!

Hey! its so good for boys to do "girl" things! It'll make them better husbands! Aidyn will push a doll stroller around, or cook in the kitchen! I just tell him, he's practicing to make some girl very happy some day :)

Love it! My hubby is constantly freaking out that our son needs more boy toys to play with too. I say why?! He loves playing with his big sissy's toys!!

When Bubba was little, I think around 2 or 3, ALL he wanted was a play kitchen. Of course, Daddy loves to cook, so he didn't think it was a big deal. We went to ToysRUS and found the most boyish kitchen we could find and that child flipped out! Played with that thing, or his vacuum, constantly. ;) I think BB may be following in his footsteps.

You are BRAVE, my dear. Is this tent camping you are doing? Have fun!
