What? I Thought Everyone Named Their Car!

Seriously. 

I thought everyone named their vehicles – but I have found that isn’t necessarily so.

My family?  We name our cars.

The Purple Grape.

The Beast.

Red Rover.

Green Disco.

And now the newest member to come into our transportation family:

VANILLA BEAN

You all had great names to choose from and I liked pretty much all of them – but one stuck out to me more than all the others and that was Kristin’s suggestion, Vanilla Bean.

She suggested Vanilla Bean in honor of my puppy Jerry Bean!

Perfect!

He would have made this minivan his second home!  Tons of sleeping room and plenty of room to walk around leisurely on long rides.  A pug who loved car rides couldn’t ask for more than that!

You can tell that the Green Disco is MUCH higher than Vanilla Bean.  Sigh.

 

So, do I like the minivan? Hello!!! It’s AWESOME! I am ENJOYING my new minivan to the fullest.  It’s huge – it’s like I’m flying an airplane or something.  I always have to have Bella ‘talk louder’ because I can never hear her when she’s in the way back! 

So, thank you, Kristin, for the name and because I’m so thankful for your suggestion, I am going to give you something!

I know how much you like Sarah Hart Pearsons, and you probably listen to her last CD almost as much as me, so I’ll be ordering her new CD for you!

It’s an AMAZING cd, and having had the chance to spend some time with her and her family last week – I can tell you they are amazing people too!

So, there it is – our new minivan, Vanilla Bean!  We’ll get to see how good he does when we take him to Texas in a couple months!
