Please stop by and check out my Etsy site!  I’ve already sold 2 Nourishing Belly Butters!  Woohoo!  For those who don’t know – I used this ‘formula’ during both my pregnancies and I have absolutely no stretch marks anywhere on my body!  The stuff works.  I’ve also used the Baby Lotion on both my kids since birth.  I use the Hydrating Hand & Body Lotion on a daily basis. I will never go back to store brand lotions.  Not only do they not work, but they are toxic to our bodies with all the chemicals, synthetic ingredients and alcohol they contain!

So much for being wordless today!

Glenwood Baby Part Two

Okay, Okay….here are the photos of all of us at The Hot Springs Lodge Pool in Glenwood Springs, Colorado!  We always take my nephew, so if you’re wondering who the older boy is in the photos – that’s him!

This was Bella on the first afternoon.  Lots of sun, heat and swimming makes a little girl sleepy!

My handsome little Scout.

Since I don’t feed my kids, they have to eat their shoes.

We always go to the local putt-putt golf course.  The kids have so much fun.  For some reason, though, I can never can take a decent photo. I look weird in this year’s shot.  My hair gets a tad wavy when it’s wet, so I have some unruly hair, I look white (when in fact I was very tan), my face is somewhat wide – and what else can I complain about?  Oh, and Scout’s not even looking :o)

Photobucket

This was from 2007 – same spot.  Looking a little puffy in this one.  Bella was almost 2 and Cody was 6 1/2.

This was from 2009 – again, same spot.  I’m in the middle of  laughing, therefore sporting a double chin.  Notice the sweatshirts and jackets?  It was chilly last year.  Again, Scout wouldn’t look.  Bella was almost 4 and Cody was 8 1/2.

I sure do lurve my Moby Wrap!

More smiles this year than screaming.  Bella has some anger issues when she plays games.  We’re working on that.

Um, can you say hottie???  My sweet Hubby!  Heehee!

And now for the BIG swimsuit reveal.

Ready?

Really ready?

Okay, here you go!

Me and the kids in our regular spot, the last morning we were there.  Look at Scout.  Awesome!
Photobucket

And that’s as close as you’re gonna get to seeing me in my swim suit :o)

This was our last day.  The kids were exhausted.  Scout had chocolate ice cream all over his face and…

his hair is the COOLEST hair EVAH!

Me and the kiddos!  Scout finally fell asleep.
Photobucket

Doesn’t he look HUGE in this photo.  He’s only 16 months old!!!
Photobucket

This was taken about 10 minutes after we left the pool heading back home.  Cody was lying down in the back sleep sleeping as well!
Photobucket

This is Vail and this shot is of the ski runs.  It’s very beautiful there in the summer.

More Colorado scenery as we headed home!

And now we’re home!  It’s always good to be home, although not having the pool at my fingertips is a bit disappointing.  Until next time Glenwood Springs…

Glenwood Baby Part One

We are finally back from our yearly vacation to Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  If you have never been there, it is definitely a place I would recommend you go.  Of course it’s easy for us since it’s only about three hours away – but it is absolutely beautiful!  You can’t beat natural hot springs to swim in!  The main pool is 90 degrees and the ‘Therapy’ pool is 104 degrees.  What’s amazing is that it’s naturally heated.  No pool heaters – just how it comes out of the earth.  The pool was built around an actual hot springs around 100 years ago.

First off, we rented us a Dodge Caravan since we have three kids in tow – we always take my nephew with us.  We couldn’t take our vehicles knowing they would be sitting so close to each other for that much driving.  We could have gone insane.  I’m not a fan of mini-vans and the whole ‘have kids, drive a mini-van’ thing – but after driving it this week – um – I think I’m a new fan of the mini-van!  And talk about storage – hello!  You could store stuff in the floor!!!! Yep, mini-van fan I am!

We left Monday morning for our three hour drive with 3 kids.  The ride is a beautiful ride.  How could you not enjoy the scenery when you have three hours of the Rocky Mountains?  Where else would you see snow on the mountain tops in the middle of June?

Here’s entering the infamous Eisenhower Tunnel that takes us through the middle of the mountain.

These are from Glenwood Canyon which is just right before you reach the Hot Springs.

Where’s the pics of us?  Well, you’ll have to come back tomorrow. Heehee!  I know, I’m mean.
It truly was a great week for us and the weather was great this year.  Some may remember that last year it was cloudy, windy and chilly the whole time we were there.  Scout didn’t want to be in the pool, because the wind made it cold.  I didn’t have the best time last year, but this year was nearly perfect!
Make sure you come back tomorrow to see us at the pool.  And, yes, I have some shots of me in my new, pink swimsuit!  Haha!  That’s sure to draw some crowds and new followers ;o) (note the sarcasm in my writing)

I’m Back, I’m Back

Yay!  So, we’re back from our wonderful vacation in Glenwood Springs.  It was a busy week and now I’m just trying to get back into my normal routine (haha, like I ever had one.)  So, while I’m working on editing some photos from our trip, I’m joining in Blog Hop Friday featured at Belly Charms the blog!  Head over to her blog and check her out!

Until I get my Glenwood post up – just know that I’m sleepy, extremely tan and really wishing I had the ‘big pool’, as Bella calls in, in my back yard!

Monday Mugs - Summer

Monday-Mugs
I’m linking up with
Heather @ Oswald Cuties for Monday Mugs

I always like looking back and comparing ‘then’ and ‘now’ photos.  It’s fun to see how much we’ve all changed over the past few years.  For today’s theme of ‘Summer’ I have taken some pictures from over the last 5 years.  I didn’t edit any of these since I’m on the road and don’t have time!  Had a hard time picking which ones to use :o)

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.
