Bella’s ‘Spa’ Themed 5th Birthday Party

I thought about breaking this post up since there are quite a few photos, but I decided to leave it as one.
Bella turned 5 on July 8th, 2010.
Her ‘Spa’ Birthday Party was on July 10th.
Seven girls.
Make-up.
Nail polish.
Tatoos.
Pizza.
Cake and Ice Cream.
Equals Tons of Fun!

Me and my sweet friend, Mandy, working on the girls!  My mom-in-law made those cute little smocks for all the girls to wear (like at a real spa) and they also got to take them home.Photobucket * * * * * * *
I like how they were all ‘hovered’ over watching.  And I need to point out Scout – who is next to me.  The kid was fascinated with it all :o)Photobucket * * * * * * *

I put this shot in to  show the glitter hairspray.  You can sort of see it in Bella’s hair.  It also works good as a body glitter.  I accidentally sprayed some on my arms and it stayed all day :o)  Looked pretty cool!

It ended up being a group effort.  Love it!

So, there you have it!  It was 2 hours of non stop fun for the girls.  They had so much fun and it was so cool to watch them!  Bella also received so many fun gifts from her friends.
I think her first ‘girls only’ party was a success!

Have you done any themed parties?

WW - Siblings

“Siblings”

Photobucket
This photo was taken this past weekend at Dillon Reservoir in Frisco/Breckenridge, Colorado.  Bella always takes good care of her brother!

As for me, I am exhausted.  I met with a new client this morning that had me knee deep in research over the past 2 weeks.  It was like I was in college pulling all nighters (although, I never did attend college, so I never did that) and I never had coffee to keep me awake.  It was worth it though.  I learned a lot and my goal is to get his body functioning properly so he can be taken off his medications for high blood pressure, gout and type II diabetes.  He seemed very willing to do whatever it would take so he no longer had to be in ‘bondage’ to pharmaceutical drugs in order to live.  Helping a person in this way is worth every minute spent researching and learning.  To see a life changed for the better is amazing and that is my goal with my business!
So, I haven’t read more than 2 blogs this past week and I’m still trying to catch up on some new bloggy friends I’ve made since last week!  What I really need is a nap, but that’s not gonna happen in this house!  If you haven’t heard from me in a while – you’ll be hearing from me soon!

Also, if you are familiar with Amy over at Filled With Praise – go check out her blog and see the photos of Elijah!  They finally got to meet their son!  He is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.  They will be bringing him home tomorrow!

Oh yea – did I ever tell you my new business name?  This one is final!  I really like it!  And, yes, there is a meaning to it!  It is pronounced like – ZOW!

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Week In Photos - Days 192-205

This week I’ll be posting 2 weeks worth of photos.  As most of you know, my USB cord was relocated by my son, Scout, last week and I had to get another one.  I still have yet to find it! So, I was unable to upload and edit photos last week.  Then we took a little camping trip (with the kiddos) up to Frisco this weekend and I did without my laptop, sniff, sniff.  I did have my wonderful iPhone, but didn’t play on the computer while I was gone.  It was kind of nice :o)

A lot of these were taken on my iPhone, so the quality isn’t the best, but for a phone, it’s pretty good.  Also, I ended up short one photo, so I used one day of photos for two days!

And last, to all my wonderful new bloggy friends, I’ll be visiting you guys soon.  We just got back from our camping trip yesterday afternoon and have lots to catch up on.  Thanks so much for being a part of my blog!  I look forward to meeting you all!

Here we go!
