So I’m a little late.
I’ve been reading up on people’s blogs and everyone has their posts with their 2011 goals and their wishes for the new year and I just enjoy reading all of it. It is very inspiring and I am a GOAL and VISION person, so I like to see people doing this.
Have I done mine?
Sort of. I have a constant list of goals that I work on throughout the year – so I don’t really make them just at the beginning of each year. I may do a post on my new blog about some things that I want to accomplish this year.
New blog? Yes, I am still moving to WordPress. I am in the middle of uploading all my content and getting everything configured. It’s a lot of work. Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t have decided on WP just because I know Blogger so well – but I really do like how theirs works, so I’m not quitting. It will be done in the next week or two.
So….today I’m going to post a photo of each of my kids from January 2010 and then a photo of them December 2010 to see how much they grew. It’s not really fair they grew and changed so much, but what can I do??? Nothing, but enjoy them and capture everyday on film or on paper so I can preserve all these memories!

I feel the same way about the wordpress switch - I know I need to, I know it would clean up my content, but learning a whole new system? Oy.
Scout is a different child. Why do the early years go so fast?!

They sure have grown up and changed this past year! Good luck finishing up your wordpress site. When I first started a blog, I started one on wordpress. I think I only posted 2 things on it and I'm not sure why I even ended up on blogger. LOL! I guess because the few blogs I read were on blogger, but I've heard so many great things about wordpress and it seems like lots of people are moving over there.
They sure did grow last year. Good luck with your move. I'm not that brave.
Wow! They have grown. It always makes me a little sad to look at our girls' photos like that - I wish I could freeze them.
But, no matter how big they have gotten, your kiddos are still darling.

Awww, they are so beautiful! And, gosh, when you put it like that you can really see how much they've changed. Kinda sad, but mostly wonderful. :)
When you put the pictures back to back like that it IS amazing how much they have changed. I am always in awe of school year to school year how my kids grow (since I am a teacher I guess I look at August to August as my "year"). :)
Love your pictures! SO glad you aren't going anywhere (I mean, just to WP) and I HAVE TO GET ON ETSY AND GET MORE LOTION! I am almost out and my legs are screaming at me!

The kids are as cute as ever!
I hear a lot of people are moving to WP. What are the highlights or pluses that make you want to switch?
I'm curious about the lotion Paige mentioned. My legs scream at me all winter, EVERY winter! My legs get SO dry the itching makes me insane! And now my face is so dry too my normal moisturizer isn't doing as well as in warmer weather. HELP! :)
They are both so precious. I think the older scout gets the more he looks like his daddy. Great pictures.
